‘After  the same  manner  also  he  took the cup, when he  had  supped, saying, This cup  is the  new  testament in  my blood: this do ye, as  oft as ye  drink  it, in  remembrance  of  me.  For as often  as ye  eat this bread, and  drink  this cup,  ye  do shew  (proclaim)  the  Lord’s death till he  comes’  (1Corinthians 11:25-26).

The  hosts in heaven sing  this song  always,  “worthy  is the  lamb that  was slain.”  There’s power in proclaiming  the  Lord’s death. The  scripture  above  tells us that when we  take  The Communion, we  do proclaim the  Lord’s death. We  proclaim to the principalities, powers and our circumstances that they  have  been disarmed, because  Jesus triumphed over them. When  you partake  of the  Holy  Communion,  you proclaim to  demon spirits  that Jesus reigns. This  means that every  demon has to flee. Once  you are  a  believer,  you are  a  priest. (1 Peter  2:9). So  you can partake  of the  Lord’s Table and even minister it to others. You do not have  to be a  pastor to do that. Therefore, take the Holy  Communion as  often as  you need to. Glory  to God!

Don’t be afraid to partake  of the  Communion. The  church has somehow misconstrued the teaching  of the  communion table and Now, Christians say  things like,  “If you are  unworthy, don’t partake,”  or,  “If you’ve  got sin in your life, don’t come  to the  Lord’s  Table or else you become  weak, sick  and  even die prematurely.”  They  have  made  something  that was meant to be a  blessing  to seem as a  curse. In  any  case, all  of us who  come to the  Lord’s Table were  once  unworthy  and were  made worthy  only  by  the  Blood of JESUS. It is only  JESUS’ death that qualified  us to partake  from.

When Paul said to not partake  in an unworthy  manner, it meant to recognize  or discern that the broken body  of the  Lord was what was meant  for  our health and wholeness. Treating  the Holy  Communion as a  ritual will make  one  miss out  on the blessings.

Say  this with me: THE BLOOD  OF  JESUS HAS  MADE ME ETERNALLY  QUALIFIED TO PARTAKE OF  THE  LORD’S TABLE,  AND  AS  I  PARTAKE,  I  PROCLAIM THE LORD’S DEATH  AND  HIS  FINISHED  WORKS  IN ALL  THAT  CONCERNS  ME  IN THE NAME OF JESUS!

Introduction To The News Of His Grace Blog

NEWS OF GRACE  Hello there, welcome to News of Grace Blog.  Here, we bring you news of God's saving grace, the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. Our focus is to make the gospel of God's grace a common one. We hope to get the message across that God saves. Grace is that good news, in fact, the too good to be true news; that Christ's death on the cross has brought about our total and complete redemption. All our sins past, present and future has been forgiven. They were forgiven because Jesus, our sacrificial lamb was crucified, sacrificed on our behalf. "For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him."  2 Corinthians 5:21.  The blood of Jesus on the cross was an 'overpayment' for the sins of mankind. And now, there is now nothing separating the believer from having a relationship, koinonia with the father. The believer has free access to the Father. He has been brought into a right stand

UNFORCED RHYTHMS OF GRACE, DAY 184

UNFORCED RHYTHMS OF GRACE, DAY 184 Pastor Gabriel Prosper Streams of Grace  Global Ministries ‘Be  anxious for  nothing, but in  everything by prayer  and  supplication,  with thanksgiving, let  your  requests be  made  known  to God’  (Philippians 4:6). You would probably  have  read this verse  before,  but would  you like  to know how  to apply  it in  your everyday  life? Let me  give  you  an illustration to help  you. Let’s say  that  you are  one  of those  in  your company  eligible  for a  promotion and  you  will know tomorrow whether  you  get it. You want the  promotion direly, because  it  means more income  for  your  family.  So  you lie  in bed at night  tossing  and turning. You  pray,  “Father, please take  away  all  my  worries about  this promotion. Give  me  faith.”  One  hour  later,  you  are  more anxious than ever.  It seems like God is  not answering  your prayer! How did that come  about?  It’s simply  because  you  are  not doing  it  God’s way.
